A professional with experience in the field of taxation and experience in the field of tax law enforcement during his career at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). He started his career as the Head of Examination, Billing, Intelligence & Investigation (PPIP) at the Regional Office of DGT Suluttenggo & Malut (2010-2015), then served as the Head of PPIP at the Regional Office of DGT Banten (2015-2016).

Furthermore, he served as Head of the Sub-Directorate of Strategic Intelligence of the DGT IP (2016-2020) and Head of the Four Foreign Investment Offices at the Special Jakarta DGT Regional Office (2020-2022), before finally serving as the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Engineering & Inspection Control of the DGT P2 (2022-2024).

Iwan Ridwan Gunawan S.E., M.M. is an alumnus of the State College of Accounting (STAN) He has had a career in the DGT for 30 years serving as a tax auditor official, including at Karikpa (Tax Audit and Investigation Office) Jakarta Satu, Karikpa Tangerang and at the Tax Service Office (KPP) Foreign Investment Two, Foreign Investment Tax Office Three, Foreign Investment Tax Office Four, and KPP Madya Palembang, KPP Madya Bandung and P2 DGT. He is also familiar with various tax dispute cases, tax audits, reviews, litigation and transfer pricing.

He has 25 years of experience in the DGT and has served as a Tax Auditor in various positions, including at the Jakarta Two Tax Audit and Investigation Office (Karikpa), Palembang Medium Tax Service Office (KPP Madya), Jakarta Pusat Medium Tax Service Office (KPP Madya), Jakarta Barat Medium Tax Service Office (KPP Madya), as well as at the Bengkulu and Lampung Regional Tax Offices (Kanwil). In addition, he has expertise in handling various tax dispute cases, tax audits, reviews, litigation, and transfer pricing determinations.
